A Walk in the Park

I had the privilege to create two custom-designed artworks for very good friends of mine in Vancouver, Canada. The brief was to create two colourful, abstract artworks that are inspired by the mountains and rivers of British Columbia. The artworks also had to reference Queen Elizabeth Park in Vancouver somehow, as this park was the location of the couple's very first date. The final design af the artworks was realised organically after many rounds of iterations, while the colour palette was inspired by the majestic autumn colours of the trees in Queen Elizabeth Park. This project is very dear to my heart, as it captures the essence of something personal and intimate... the contours of a couple in love... in an abstract, colourful and timeless manner.
