Family Manifesto
I had the privilege to create a series of eight artworks to express a family's "family manifesto" for a beautiful home on the outskirts of Stellenbosch, South Africa. The client gave me the eight key principles that he and his family live by and asked if I could visualise them in a colourful manner using the shape of a triangle as the main motif. The colour of the series was inspired by the protea pincushions (Leucospermum cordifolium) in their garden. The result was a series of eight unique paintings (Acrylic on canvas, 38 x 38 cm each, framed in Kiaat), that each tell a unique story and fit together to form a vibrant unity.
